As the CEO and owner of an event production firm I have to do the impossible; be in multiple places at once. Technology has allowed me to do just that. No, I haven’t figured out how to clone myself but email via cell phone, video conferencing and various mobile apps make it all possible.
Advances in the techno-sphere create new and exciting things for event production. Guest lists synced with iPads for rapid check-in allots more time to enjoy the event than getting in. Smartphones have included themselves with clutches and cuff links. This tech accessory led us to create the Flash Mobile Carpet. This is our interactive red carpet. It allows guests to pass their smartphone to a photographer and have their red carpet picture taken. With phone and picture in hand guests can instantly posts their carpet pictures to social media pages.
